Welcome to Our Theater Department

The Theater department of DDCAC is one of our most active elements, contributing significantly to the cultural fabric of our community. Doing 2 or more productions a year, and now happily having added a children's theater affectionately named The Stage Door Kids, has enabled us to engage a wider audience and foster a love for the performing arts among younger generations. We hope to expand on our success by adding bigger and bolder productions in the future, aiming to elevate the quality and diversity of performances. Many of our actors are newer to the stage, waiting till adulthood or even after retirement before bravely trying their hand at acting, showcasing their passion and dedication. Several of our committed members are also trying their hand at directing, bringing their unique visions to life and contributing creatively to our theater community. We welcome anyone with a passion for performing arts to come and audition for one of our exciting performances, regardless of their background or experience, as we believe in nurturing talent and creativity.
